Some end of year shots for 2010

Here are some shots taken over the last year here and there in Peninsular Malaysia which I haven't got round to posting yet.

Malaysian Honeyguide. These are hard to find, but once you succeed, they're easy to see again, since they are incredibly faithful to the same singing perch!







Singing!





Displaying. I never saw another bird at these times. The display consisted of wing stretching above the body, and then stretching each wing in turn below the body, exposing the yellow patch on the lesser coverts. Difficult to photograph the exact moment!



Some of the uppertail coverts had pale yellow inner webs.
